Abstract
The excavation at Ḥorbat Hermas yielded 91 glass fragments, 50% of which were diagnostic. Remains of a glass industry were also noticed in rather large quantities, including fragments of furnace walls, raw glass chunks and wasters. It seems that a glass workshop operated at the site during the Byzantine and beginning of the Umayyad periods.
