Abstract
In July–August 1979, an excavation was conducted at Shave Ziyyon under the direction of M. Prausnitz and Y. Ben Yosef, following the discovery of ancient building walls during the laying of foundations for modern construction. The excavation was carried out in two areas, adjacent to a previously excavated church site on their eastern side.
