Abstract
The pottery vessels from the Late Chalcolithic period were retrieved from two shafts that were dug in the natural ḥamra soil. These included bowls, mostly V-shaped; wheel-made cornets; pedestal bowls and goblet; open and closed kraters; holemouths; churns; an ossuary handle; and decorated fragments, some of which might be attributed to the Pottery Neolithic period. The finds attest to the last use of the shafts as refuse pits.
