Abstract
Sixteen coins, all poorly preserved, were retrieved from the excavations at Tamra. They range in date from the second half of the fourth century BCE to the sixth century CE. Worthy of mention are a silver drachm of Alexander the Great, an ‘Akko-Ptolemais coin and five tint nummi from the fifth century CE.
