Abstract
The excavation at Tel Magalyielded 853 bones. Alarge number of them were heavily broken.The startigraphic sequence comprised stratafrom the Neolithic period (Stratum IX), WadiRaba (Strata VIII, VII), Early Bronze Age IB(Stratum VI), Early Bronze Age II (Strata V–II) and Early Bronze Age III (Stratum I), andbones were recovered throughout the sequence,with the highest percentage in strata dating tothe Early Bronze Age periods.
