Abstract
In June 2024, a salvage excavation was conducted about 200 m east of Highway 90 (Permit No. A-9841/2024; Map ref. 234720-96/565410-81), prior to the construction of a hotel. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Pie Siam Ltd., was directed by D. Halpern (area supervising and field photography), with the assistance of A. Montagu (photography and surveying), Y. Alamor (administration), D. Eisenberg-Degen (scientific consultation), and A. Freiberg, I. Radashkovsky, G. Zohar and T. Sapir (Southern Negev District).
