Abstract
In July 2021, a salvage excavation was conducted near Nataf (Permit No. A-9074/2021; Map ref. 207688-9794/636498-7183) prior to laying a water pipeline. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Mekorot (Israel National Water Co.) was directed by L. Silas (photography), with the assistance of N. Nehama (administration), S. Gendler (metal detector), Y. Zelinger (scientific counseling), E. Marko (photogrammetry) and J. Tiano (location map) and A. Rose and S. Gendler (Judean district).
