Abstract
During August–September 2022, preliminary trial trenches and a trial excavation were conducted on a private plot in Jebel Mukkabbir (Permit No. A-9389/2022; Map ref. 222688-719/629640-74). The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Mr. Hassin Kara'in, was directed by M. Hossin, with the assistance of N. Sapir and B. Touri (scientific counseling) and Sh. Halevi (photography and photogrammetry).
