Abstract
In July 2023, a trial excavation was conducted on plot No. 400 in The Mishkafayim Neighborhood in Ramat Bet Shemesh (Permit No. A-9630/2023; Map ref. 200475-490/624890-935). The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the 'Shibolet Ltd.' company, was directed by E. Wexler, with the assistance of N. Nehama (administration), Z. Matskevich (trial trenches), S. Halevi (photography), E. Marko (surveying), O. Zakaim (drafting), S. Gendler (district archaeologists), Y. Shalev (archaeological consultation), T. Winter (glass) and with the participation of laborers.
