Abstract
In October 1966, an excavation was conducted in Kibbutz HaMa'apil (map ref. 21988/6983), following the discovery of ancient remains during ground leveling prior to construction work in the north-eastern area of the kibbutz. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by R. Gophna.
