Abstract
In August 2023, a trial excavation was conducted in Qiryat Yeʽarim (Permit No. A-9646/2023; Map ref. 209883/634684), in an area designated for the construction of a school and kindergartens. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Qiryat Yeʽarim Local Council, was directed by D. Tzitron (photography and field preparation), with the assistance of Y. Shalev (scientific consultation), N. Nehama (administration), A. Melman and V. Sterman (preliminary inspections), S. Halevi (surveying, photography, and photogrammetry), O. Zakaim (location map and drafting), S. Gendler and T. Edeltin.
