Abstract
In May 1953, an excavation was conducted in Bet She’an (map ref. 247/712), following the exposure of a stone foudation by the Forestry Department about two years earlier. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by N. Zori. A paved street that was dated to the Byzantine period was exposed.
