Abstract
In 1970 or 1972, an excavation was conducted 300 m west of Beit She'an's northern cemetery (Unknown Permit number; map ref. unknown), following the discovery of a sarcophagus during earthworks. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by P. Porat.
