Abstract
In July 1975, a salvage excavation was conducted in the area of the abandoned Arab village of Lubia, east of the Golani Interchange (map ref. 239/743), following the exposure of burial caves during the paving of a track by the Jewish National Fund. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by D. Davis. The excavation area borders the northern fringe of the Muslem village cemetery. Two burial caves and a single cist grave were excavated.
