Abstract

In October–November 1979, salvage excavations were carried out along the coast of Achziv, south of the ruins of Nahal Achziv (map ref. 20945/7718), following the discovery of the remains of an extensive settlement that was exposed by natural forces. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by M. Prausnitz.
