Abstract
In 1956, a trial excavation was conducted on the western slope of Tel El-Ruiyan (Tel Roeh) on the lands of Sede Eliyahu in the Beit She'an Valley (map ref. unknown), prior to the laying of a water canal. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by N. Zori.
