Abstract
In April 1953, an excavation was conducted at the Hadera cemetery (map ref. 1934/7041), following the discovery of a Roman mausoleum during the digging of a grave. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by F. Berger with the assistance of A. Hiram (surveying and drawing) and J. Ori (photography). The report was written by R. Bar-Natan.
