Abstract
In 1956, an excavation was conducted in Narbata, near Kibbutz Ma’anit (map ref. 2030/7060). The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by F. Berger and S. Ben Aryeh. A burial cave was exposed. Two decorated sarcophagi were found inside the burial chamber. The cave was dated to the Roman period.
