Abstract
In 1958, a salvage excavation was conducted in Bet Shemesh (map ref. 1979/6286), following damage to a water cistern during the widening of a road. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, with the participation of the Department of Public Works, was directed by A. Druks and L. Y. Rahmani.
