Abstract
In September–October 1960, a salvage excavation was conducted at Deir el-Asad (map ref. unknown), following the discovery of a burial cave during the digging of a water cistern on a private plot. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by N. Tfilinsky, with the assistance of Z. Yeivin (surveying) and Z. Goldman (photography).
