Abstract
In December 1965, an excavation was conducted in Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta'ot (map ref. 2091/7625), following leveling of the ground in the parking lot of the Ghetto Fighters House museum. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by Y. Ben Yosef, with the assistance of Sh. Moskowitz (surveying and plans). The site was previously damaged as a result of construction work, the planting of trees, illegal kurkar mining and the plundering of graves.
