Hadashot Arkheologiyot (Hebrew Series) has been published in print since 1961 by the Israel Department of Antiquities and Museums (IDAM) and since 1990, by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). The English version of this journal—Excavations and Surveys in Israel—has been published since 1982. The journal contains preliminary reports of excavations and surveys in Israel, as well as archaeological finds recorded during inspection activities.
Since 1999, the Hebrew and English Series have been combined into one bilingual journal, named Hadashot Arkheologiyot—Excavations and Surveys in Israel with volume numbers continuing the sequence of the Hebrew series, starting with Volume 109.
The digital format of this bilingual journal replaced the printed version in 2004 (Volume 116) and can be found at https://hadashot.iaa.org.il/
