Aims & Scope
Cornerstone (حجر الزاوية) is dedicated to the archaeology of the Levant and neighboring regions, publishing original research, excavation reports, site studies and heritage-conservation scholarship in Arabic.
The journal seeks to promote the dissemination of high-quality archaeological research to Arabic-speaking audiences by presenting new discoveries from all historical periods, with particular emphasis on field excavations and interdisciplinary studies. It aims to foster a deeper appreciation of the past, strengthen education and conservation values, and serve as a trusted resource for academics, students, heritage professionals, tour guides and the broader public in the region and beyond.
