Abstract
In July 2023, a trial excavation was conducted in south of Bet She'an (Permit No. A-9586/2023; Map ref. 246330-545/710040-256). The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by G. Peled, with the assistance of G. Leyfirer (trial trenches), R. Be'eri and W. Atrash (scientific counseling), Y. Yaakobi and Y. Zilpa (administration), A. Shapiro (GIS), B. Tzin (GPS), B. Hanna (district archaeologist), A. Ibrahim (regional archaeologists), and with the participation of laborers from Jenin.
