Abstract
In June–July 1965, a trial excavation was conducted near Migdal (map ref. 2485/7475), following the discovery of sarcophagi during the widening of the Tiberias–Migdal road. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums and financed by the Department of Public Works, was directed by N. Tfilinski with the assistance of M. Feist (surveying) and Sh. Moskowitz (plan).
