Abstract
In December 1951, a trial excavation was conducted south of the Catholic cemetery in Tiberias (map ref. unknown), following the discovery of a sarcophagus during the digging of a channel. The excavation, on behalf of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, was directed by B. Ravni.
