Abstract
In September 1999, a salvage excavation was carried out at Mi‘iliya (map ref. 2248/7699), under the direction of M. Yattah, in advance of construction work. On the southeastern slopes south of the Crusader wall, a cistern was exposed at a depth of 2 m below the base of the wall.
