Abstract
In August 1988, a salvage excavation was carried out in the courtyard of a residential property on Ha-Meyasdim Street in Qiryat Ata (map ref. 2102/7455), under the direction of Y. Porath. The excavation was initiated following the discovery of ancient settlement remains during preparations for modern construction, in proximity to another plot where remains of a settlement and an olive press had previously been uncovered.
