Abstract
In March 2010, a trial excavation was conducted approximately 100 m north of the Be’er Sheva‘ North Railroad Station, in the Ramot neighborhood of Be’er Sheva‘ (Permit No. A-5896; map ref. 182129–67/574498–530), prior to construction activities. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by A. Krokhmalnik, with the assistance of Y. Al'amor (administration), A. Peretz (field photography), M. Kunin, T. Kornfeld and A. Hajian (surveying), and A. Fraiberg.
