Abstract
The excavations at Ras el-ʽAmud uncovered two complete pithoi found in situ in a courtyard, resting on bedrock and attributed to Stratum VI. Sediments within the pithoi contained organic material, including two charred olive pits (Olea europaea), which were analyzed using radiocarbon dating. The results produced relatively broad calibrated date ranges that fall well within the timeline of the Intermediate Bronze Age.
